Because only the relevant passages of your content are sent with each question rather than your whole knowledge base, a typical answer is a few hundred tokens instead of several thousand, which is the single biggest factor in keeping the bill small. You also set a monthly message cap; once it's hit, the assistant serves your fallback message with your phone number instead of calling the AI, so the cost can never run away from you.

There isn't one. Rs. 599 is a one-time payment for a lifetime licence on one site, and it unlocks the whole plugin: unlimited indexing, the knowledge-gaps report, the conversation inbox, unlimited leads with custom fields, unlimited locations, CRM and webhook delivery, human handover and spend analytics. No monthly fee, no message credits, no renewal invoice a year later. You pay OpenRouter directly for the AI itself (typically a few hundred rupees a month on ordinary traffic) and nothing routes through us. Yes. If your workflow doesn't fit a settings screen (querying a booking engine, reading live stock from an ERP, a WhatsApp or Instagram channel, a multi-step qualification flow, vector search, private or self-hosted models, or a white-labelled build for an agency's client base) we build those as bespoke projects. There's a one-click CSV export with every custom field as its own column.

Yes. It's a floating bubble by default, so no theme changes are needed at all. If you want it inline, there's a Gutenberg block, a [wp_ai_chatbot] shortcode for a chat panel, and a [wp_ai_chatbot_form] shortcode for a plain lead form using the same fields. Needs WordPress 5.8+ and PHP 7.4+.

You pick a tone preset (professional, concise, friendly, enthusiastic or calm) and then add your own rules in plain English, one per line. Things like “never quote a price without adding that it depends on a survey”, or “always refer to clients, never customers”. Those rules go into every reply. It's also hard-coded to refuse medical, legal and financial advice and point to a qualified human instead, which matters if your brand carries professional liability.

There's a consent gate with your own wording and privacy policy link before any details are collected, a retention window that purges old transcripts and leads on a daily cron, and registration with WordPress's own export and erase tools so a data request under Tools → Export/Erase Personal Data returns the right records. Raw IP addresses are never stored, only a salted hash used for rate limiting. Deleting the plugin does not wipe your leads unless you opt in.
